What do think of the Hindu Scriptures. These are all wonderful directions on how to “be” and how to get to the state of “beingness”
Q: Bhagwad Gita (talks about Karma theory, Kriya Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Jnana Yoga, Raj Yoga, Surrender, Love, Union with God, Knowledge of Soul etc)?
A: The Gita is a wonderful way of explaining the struggles we have in divorcing ourselves from the physical world and awakening to the greater reality, and, how the ego can fool us.
Yoga is a progressive way to tune the focus of the mind – initially through focusing on physicality (exercises) then gradually as the Yogi progresses he changes from the subtitles of one Yoga to another finishing at Kriya Yoga – mental Yoga and connectivity with God.
Q: Bible (Love thy Self, Love thy Neighbor, Forgiveness etc)?
A: The bible tells us how to live in the physical but not be of the physical – i.e. how to live a life whilst avoiding Karma.
