In the first post on what a soul mate is I focused upon the human aspect. In this post I will explain the energetic structure behind it.
Our True Energetic Selves, God Head, Higher Self, Over Soul, which ever descriptor you relate to, has the ability to project up to twelve ‘aspects’ of itself into the lower frequencies associated with the physical universe. Each one can be incarnate in a separate human body or other incarnate vehicle (not animal etc.) that is of a higher frequency.
Each of these aspects can also project up to twelve ‘shards’ of itself and occupy other incarnate vehicles (again not animal etc.) as a full sub-incarnation (an incarnation within an incarnation) if the aspect is incarnate in a higher frequency than the Earth frequencies, or, as a walk-in, which can be a full, temporary or shared walk-in.
Any aspect or a shard, is, by definition, still part of the true energetic self.
When more than one aspect or shard is projected into an incarnate state those aspects or shards can be classified as a ‘soul group’ of the true energetic self. As part of the soul group they are ‘soul mates’ because they belong to one true energetic self, over soul, higher self or god head.
When any of these aspects or shards meet and work together as a partnership whilst in the incarnate state they are working with a member of their soul group, one of their soul mates.
Therefore, when someone states that they have met their soul mate they have met another aspect or shard of themselves. Both of them being part of a much larger entity, their true energetic self.
It is because they have met an incarnate aspect or shard of themselves that they naturally love that incarnate person. It is this love of an aspect or shard of the true energetic self that results in the human explanation for a soul mate discussed in the first post on this subject.

Great info Guy. can we if we are very lonely ask our higher self to meet our soul mate to grow each other and help humanity?
Very interesting. So many people want to meet our soul mate and live happily ever after. From the perspective explained by Guy meeting one’s soul mate actually means meeting oneself. More or less. Which then makes me wonder wouldn’t it be more interesting/beneficial/exciting to meet someone else and live happily ever after with them. Since one doesn’t need someone else to meet oneself – we are with ourself all the time anyway. 🙂
I don’t even know where to begin with this one. It seems that if you are fortunate enough to have found your soul mate, your soul’s purpose can be accelerated greatly. How many times have I wished that there were more of me to get everything done? I wonder if an incarnate can house shards from more than one soul? Any ideas?
Do we hook up with these souls because they are resonating with our frequencies and are pulled together? Or is it because our thoughts and desires manifests this attraction? Just wondering Guy because wouldn’t it be better to do as the song says and “love the one you’re with” thus creating something totally new?
“Each one can be incarnate in a separate human body or other incarnate vehicle (not animal etc.) that is of a higher frequency.” What are other incarnate vehicle if not animal that are of high frequency?
There are many other incarnate vehicles that are within the physical universe but above those frequencies occupied by the human body. An example would be the Arcturians etc
